The Diagnosis...

It only took...

a trip to the emergency room
6 x-rays
3 visits to a hand specialist
10 more x-rays
an MRI
and 3 1/2 weeks

to figure out that I broke my wrist in 2 places, and tore a ligament!
What a pain!!!

Now I just have to wear my splint for a couple more weeks, and it should heal on its own. Sometimes I think doctors are a big waste of time and money. :)

"Kade's A Big Boy!"

I can't believe our little Munchkin is 3!!! He keeps reminding us that he's a big boy now! His whole goal in life is to be a big boy so he can play sports. Here are a couple pics from his birthday party. (I'll add more later, when my Mom emails them to me. :))

Mmmmmmm....

Tonight we made homemade cobbler from our canned peaches. It was heavenly!!! Kade ate 2 bowls!!!

Aunt Annie's Orchard

A few weeks ago, we drove out to Wilcox to pick peaches. We had a fun day, and brought home tons of fresh produce.

Kade enjoyed riding in the wagon.
He picked this peach himself, and then just decided to have a bite.
Rob decided to devour a peach also.
Kade wanted to go on the tractor ride before we left.
It was pretty fun...and bumpy.
Some of the watermelon from the orchard.
Kade loved the sweet corn that we brought back.
Rob picked out the largest squash he could find, and we're still eating it.
We had some friends over to play games... and eat watermelon. (You can tell their Mom takes a lot of pictures, because little Porter is holding up his plate back there. I told them to ,"say hi w/ their watermelon.")

Canning Peaches

We spent one night canning the peaches we had picked at Aunt Annie's Orchard. It took forever!!!!

Rob's hard at work

Rob finally went to bed around 1:00 am, while I waited for the jars to finish processing. (After all I would get to take a nap the next day.)

Wrist Update...

The scary bump on top is smaller.
It's a little green...
That's a nice color on me.
More bruising
The fun splint I get to wear until they figure out what's wrong w/ it. How many Doctors does it take to diagnose a broken wrist? More x-rays to come next week.
