He's a SunDevil!

We took Kade to his 1st ASU football game. He loved it, and was soooooo good. He just sat on Rob's lap for most of the game. He would clap when everyone clapped, and cover his ears when it was too noisy (especially when the fireworks went off). We have season tix, so we're glad he enjoyed it!

Can you tell how hot & sweaty we were? It was an evening game, but I think it was still in the high 90's!

BACK TO THE LAKE...

We headed back to Apache Lake, Friday night, for some camping and wakeboarding.
When I finished wakeboarding, Kade got in the water with me. (I'm still sore 2 days later!)
Rob showing us a little leg. Cute!
Chillin' at the campsite...

The babies are playing nicely.
Kade loves his little camp chair.
Jack & Jasper started jumping off the boat tower.

Kade's snuggling with his friend Remi. This is how he cuddles the dog.
Isn't Gavin cute?

Look at what we found crossing the road on our way home... Yikes!
A tarantula!
We had a great time, and were exhausted when we got home!

9/11 ...

9/11 remembered ...

Tempe had this great display of flags, set up on Wednesday, to remember those who were lost on 9/11. They set up 2996 flags with yellow ribbon and a laminated card and picture of each person who lost their life 7 years ago. It was a magnificent sight to behold!
It was extremely windy, and we were in the middle of a dust storm, but the city of Tempe had a whole presentation, ceremony, Color Guard, and candle vigil set up for tonight.
It was special night to be a part of. 9/11 changed our world forever, and I think it's important to always remember that day and to clebrate the lives of those that were cut short because of it.
Kade loved the "candle" flashlight that was handed out. I thought he was going to take it to bed with him.
