Kade had his 1st haircut on Saturday. My Mom was in town, so we scheduled him an appointment at this adorable children's salon. And we took a bunch of pictures!
Here's a before shot...
This is the cute salon that we took him to.
I messed it up, so we could get the full effect of how long it was.
(The comb-forward...)
He was getting a little rat tail in the back. It was hot!
At the salon, the kids get to pick their own seat. Kade chose the airplane. He loved spinning the wheel.
There were some little girls in the back room having manicures and pedicures. It was so cute!
Kade was mesmerized by the clippers. We thought he might actually fall asleep.
Isn't he handsome?
Almost done...
He thought he looked good, so he wanted to try on some new shades.
He was not happy when it was time to leave, he was having fun in the salon's little play area.
He was a little mad about it!
He got over it pretty quickly. And he looked so handsome at lunch. (We didn't get too many "after" shots.) But we think he's pretty cute! Glad my Mom came up, to get some pictures of the 1st haircut. Of course, we saved some hair for the scrapbooks!

He looks great, such a cutie! I wish I knew what to do with Karli's hair. It is long in the back and short up front.....uugh! She keeps pulling her pony tails out that I put on top and rips her hir out. I wonder if it will ever grow in on top! For now, she will have the 80's mullet.
Adorable! I wish we had a place like that up here! I love the new short do on the little man.....
Oh Cute! He looks so grown up! Thanks for giving me your blog address! Hope you are well!

we really need to get together for another game night. sorry my total sickness canceled the last one but we must reschedule! :)
It's about time :) He is so adorable. I am glad that we can get together. The boys have so much fun. See you tonight.
So fun! There is nothing like a first hair cut. He is adorable. I just read you comment about wanting to know what hotel we stayed in for the Polar Express (I know, I'm not good about keeping up!) Yes, it was in Williams and I think it's the only one there? It was the one right by the train stop. Hope that helps. We loved it, you will have so much fun. Email me if you have any other questions and I'll respond much sooner:) You have to go to "out of Africa" or whatever that place is called - it was AWESOME. I posted about it if you want to find out more. miss you, hope to see you soon.
Congratulations Kade!! What a cool place, I love it! Love you!
