We went to L.A. last weekend, for a wedding. Rob found a hotel, on Priceline, in Manhattan Beach. It was a 30 minute walk to the beach, so we woke up both mornings and headed down for some sand and sun. It was a quick, but fun getaway. (The wedding was nice too. Congratulations Dave & Jessica.) We love the beach!
This was Kade's room. (Better known as "the closet.")
Kade was helping Rob look up the weather for the day.
He wasn't too sure about the ocean.
The water was cold.
But he loved the sand.

I was on the trip too, I swear! I guess I was just the designated photographer...

I love the pic of daddy and son sitting side by side on the sand! Too cute!
Mommy's never get enough footage! And this is the time in our life when we'll actually look back longingly some day and say "Look how skinny we were!"
